About Rio Landscape Sciences Academy
Rio Landscape Sciences Academy was established to address persistent gaps between isolated disciplines involved in planning, design, construction, and environmental systems.
Even well-intended developments often result in unintended consequences such as drainage failure, erosion, flooding, or long-term maintenance issues. These outcomes are frequently the result of fragmented approaches rather than holistic design thinking.
Rio integrates principles from civil engineering, landscape architecture, hydrology, sustainability, and construction to provide cross-disciplinary education and consulting. Our goal is to support better decisions, reduce risk, and promote long-term performance and environmental coexistence.
